in the Sassafras Room
Monday, April 20th from 7 P.M. to 8 P.M.

in the Clubhouse Office

Make sure to bring ID with your name and address

If you cannot pick up your fob by April 19th, your fobs do not work, or have questions regarding the fob/door access system, please email the Technology Committee at BayberrySouthTech@gmail.com.

No information will be posted on Facebook.

Who Are We?

The oldest of three communities in the Village of Bayberry South, The Ponds at Bayberry South has 569 homes set on 450 acres of attractively landscaped open space with miles of walking and biking trails and dotted with serene ponds filled with glistening water and wildlife. The Ponds is located just west of Dupont Highway (Rte. 13) on Boyds Corner Road (Rte. 896). The Ponds' 10,000 sq. ft. clubhouse, which is adjacent to the pool and near pickleball, bocce, and other sports courts, features a welcoming outdoor patio with a cozy fire pit, a fitness center, game room, and meeting/card rooms, as well as a ballroom and Community great room and cafe area.

The Ponds at Bayberry South is located on the outskirts of Middletown, Delaware, about 24 miles south of Wilmington. Middletown was incorporated on Feb. 12, 1861 and was originally a tavern stop built roughly half-way across the peninsula between Bohemia Landing on the eastern branch of the Bohemia River in Maryland and Appoquinimink Creek in Odessa on the old cart road; hence, the name, “Middletown.”

Clubhouse Access System Update

The new access system was installed on April 8th.
Old key fobs will no longer work.
The smartphone option is not currently available.
Everyone will be issued a fob.
To pick up your fobs you must present ID with your name and address.
Everyone must sign an updated Agreement of Use.

If you haven't submitted your birthday and/or anniversary to the newsletter for inclusion in the "Oh Happy Day" feature, you can do that on the Newsletter page, or by contacting the Communications Committee on the Committees page. Make sure to include the year that these happy events occurred so that we can highlight your decade celebrations.

FAQ of the Month

Can I Bring Guests to the Clubhouse or the Fitness Center?

Each owner-household may have up to 5 guests at the Clubhouse & 2 in the Fitness Center (FC), aged 18+(FC).
The member must sign in ALL guests and remain with the guests at all times.
Guests are not permitted to attend Community events without advance permission from a Director or the Clubhouse chairperson.
An unmarried member may bring one significant other as a guest to an event.
Members have priority use of the FC equipment.
No personal trainers are permitted to use the Fitness Center.
